"This Andy Warhol portrait brings together the uncontested King of Pop Art with the uncontested King of Pop. The portrait was painted at the height of their careers and is a celebration of two of the great talents in global cultural history," said Janet Lehr of the Vered Gallery, agents for the seller, in a statement released on Friday.

I'm earning HAIR miles!

Blonde Jodie Haffenden clocks up 12,000 round-trip hair miles every time she gets her locks trimmed by Metin Warwick.

Mum-of-two Jodie, 35, lives in Hong Kong but won't trust anyone with her hair except the UK-based crimper.

She said: "It is so hard to find people to trust with your hair but particularly so in Hong Kong because they have different ideas over there." Jodie, whose husband Ross works in China's manufacturing industry, has been making the 13-hour flight to the UK twice a year since 2005 to have her £100 cut.

Jodie, who has children Grace, four, and Ben, six, added: "Towards the end I am desperate to have it done but I hold on because I don't want someone else to mess it up. I would rather wait."

Metin, 28, has a salon in Maidstone, Kent, but visits Jodie for her hour-long session as she catches up with her family in Ashford. He said: "I just make sure I keep her happy."

X Factor kids get rough ride

X Factor hopefuls have branded bosses skinflints after likening last week's boot camp to a "concentration camp".

More than 200 who made it through regional auditions were invited to London to compete for 24 places at the next stage.

But some ousted contestants complained they were HERDED around from as early as 6am, given MEAGRE expenses, fed from a church "SOUP KITCHEN" and BANNED from talking while filming was under way.

One even talked of RATIONED LOO BREAKS.

An 18-year-old quit despite making it through to the following day's round. She told The People: "The lowly-looking meat on our plates had been treated with more humanity than us."

But a show source said the concentration camp claims were "ridiculous". She said hopefuls were well aware of the conditions and were happy to take part.

The wannabes were put up in £125-a-night double rooms at the Hammersmith Novotel in West London for the six-day boot camp.

Scarlett Johansson at D&G Launch

Screen bombshell Scarlett Johansson paid tribute to the 1940s on Friday as she turned out for the new Dolce & Gabbana make-up launch at London's Selfridges.

The Hollywood actress took inspiration from wartime fashion in a floral cap-sleeve blouse with a necktie, a terracotta pencil skirt and nude peep-toe heels.

And of course the Lost In Translation star, who is currently sporting strawberry blonde tresses, was wearing lashings of the brand's new red lipstick which she described as capturing 'old Hollywood glamour'.

Dannii and Cheryl dress to impress

Dannii does it again! Minogue's sleek look outdoes Cheryl's latest outfit at X Factor auditions

She might be the darling of X Factor after proving a massive hit when she joined the talent show's panel last year and re-signing for an even bigger pay packet. But Cheryl Cole seems to be increasingly losing her grip on the title of the show's biggest fashionista to fellow judge Dannii Minogue.

MInogue, Cole's arch-rival since she first joined X Factor in 2008, stole yet another march on the Girls Aloud star today as they arrived for the latest round of auditions. The 37-year-old looked sleek and sophisticated in a very on-trend dark leopard print dress teamed with a pair of classic Mary Jane platform shoes. A hemline below the knee ensured the sexy print did not look too flashy and the style was simple enough not to be overwhelming.

Minogue's monochrome outfit was perfectly co-ordinated with a thick silver headband which made her fringe invisible and gave her face an instant lift. Cole, meanwhile, looked more youthful but slightly less well co-ordinated in her latest ensemble.

The 26-year-old singer sported a playful pink puffball skirt and a draped cream silk blouse, which made for a fussy combination that swamped her slender frame. Her peep-toe heels were another fashion faux pas, as the dirty pink shade jarred with the brighter hue of her skirt - nude footwear would have been a better choice. A Heidi-style plaited hairdo made the star look even younger compared to the sophisticated Minogue.
