Freddie George Fisher has become the tenth person to be evicted from the Big Brother 10 house in the closest public vote of the series so far.
The 23-year-old entrepreneur - who had his name changed back from his house name of Halfwit earlier on Friday - received 53 per cent of the vote over fellow nominee Marcus Akin.
His departure ended a lucky streak which had seen him escape eviction on no less than seven occasions.
Freddie appeared to be surprised when Davina announced his name, since he and his fellow housemates had expected Marcus to get the boot.
"Oh wow," he said calmly, getting to his feet - although Marcus appeared less than pleased to be staying. "Oh come on," he shouted, "What a load of ****!"
"Bring on the rest of the summer," Freddie added, before giving Bea - with whom he had a rocky relationship - a goodbye hug. "It was nice to meet you," he said simply.
He told the other housemates that he had had an "incredible" experience.
Freddie's eviction is the first in Big Brother history to be decided by tactical voting, after housemates were told they were allowed to discuss nominations.
