Mum of one Zoe announced the "lovely news" on her Radio 2 show, after weeks of speculation.
Zoe and husband Norman Cook went to hospital for her 12-week scan earlier this week - and were told all is well with the pregnancy.
Zoe, 38, who has an eight-year-old son Woody with Norman, told listeners: "I've got some lovely news for you all, actually. I'm having a baby."
The ex-Strictly Come Dancing star, who lives in a beach house in Brighton, said she was "eating everything in sight", adding: "In fact, I look like I've eaten Demis Roussos! And my little boy is so happy. He's waited an awful long time for a baby brother or sister."
Zoe's joy comes despite her suffering from polycystic ovaries, a condition that can make it very difficult, or sometimes impossible, to conceive. Her agent Vivienne Clore confirmed the baby had been conceived naturally.
"She and Norman are absolutely thrilled," she said."She's been bursting to tell everyone."
Zoe's dad, veteran kids' presenter Johnny Ball, 71, said grandson Woody had phoned to tell him the happy news. "We're delighted," he added.
The baby is due in February.
